These terms govern your use of the Especially Digital facility access service, including our text messaging program.
The service
Especially Digital provides temporary access codes and access management for secured utility facilities, on behalf of the facility operator. Requesting access does not guarantee it will be granted. Access decisions are made by the facility operator and may be declined for any reason.
Text messaging program
- You initiate the program by scanning a QR code posted at a facility or by texting (936) 223-3700. By sending that message, you agree to receive text messages related to your access request.
- Messages are limited to your access requests and related status updates. Typical frequency is a small number of messages per visit.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or call (936) 223-3700. Opting out may mean we cannot process access requests by text.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Access codes
- Access codes are issued to you personally, for a specific facility and time window. Do not share codes with anyone.
- Codes expire automatically and may be revoked at any time without notice.
- Entering a facility, or allowing another person to enter, outside the scope of your authorization is prohibited and may violate law.
Your responsibilities
By requesting access you represent that:
- The information and photos you provide are accurate, current, and depict you and your actual employer or company
- You are authorized by your company to perform work at the facility
- You will comply with all posted rules, safety requirements, and the facility operator’s instructions while on site
Verification photos
Submitting a request requires photos used to verify identity and company affiliation. Our handling of photos is described in our Privacy policy. Do not submit photos of government-issued identification.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, and the service depends on cellular networks and third-party systems outside our control. If the service is unavailable, contact the facility operator by phone at the number posted at the facility.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Especially Digital’s total liability arising out of the service is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or delays in facility access.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted at this page. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
